Julia has graduated from International Faculty of Engineering, where she was studying biomedical engineering. Her journey with organic electronics has been started during the preparation of the engineering thesis, which the main goal was to obtain the best quality, flexible, self-standing polystyrene layers that can be further applied as both – the substrate and the dielectric in the organic field effect transistors. Organic electronics was so interesting to her that she decided to change the educational path and now she is about to obtain a master degree in nanotechnology.

In the Self-Flex-App project, Julia is responsible for various tasks but her main responsibility is to support her more-experienced colleagues in their experiments related to the phase-separation of dielectric-semiconductor mixtures or printing of the conductive inks. Due to her well-developed time-management skills, she is able to connect project work with her studies, achieving excellent grades, enabling her to receive the Rector’s scholarship for the best students three times in a row.

The remaining free time Julia usually spends with her friends or good crime fiction.
